Reification

Myth is fed by not being, lurking at the gaps of becoming.

Reification (German: Verdinglichung)
From Wikipedia
·         Fallacy of treating an abstraction as if it were a real thing
·         Where an object is perceived as having more spatial information than is actually present in the original stimulus (Gestalt Psychology)
·         The consideration of an abstraction or an object as if it had living existence and abilities, it implies the thingification of social relations; sometimes called objectification (Marxism)

If visible side of surface defines reality, sheltering it from abstraction, the invisible one can witness becoming and reveal the ultimate unity of opposites.
